martin rhbMartin likes travelling. He likes seeing new places and meeting new people, and likes encouraging others to do the same. And what better way to do that than on a bus, train or bicycle?

Improving transport links gives communities a boost. It creates jobs, brings investment and improves the quality of life. Martin is keen to drive improvements to services, particularly in rural areas, using innovative means of funding new schemes, such as cross-sector partnerships, and highlighting the wider benefits to society and local economies.

Martin currently works for Transport Focus, the independent consumer watchdog for rail, bus, tram and coach passengers and users of England’s Strategic Road Network. He represents Transport Focus on the National Community Rail Steering Group.
